This new group run by Christopher Ralls and Crissie Osborne will be slightly different.
Firstly, meetings will be held on Saturdays which we hope will appeal to people who
would like something to help fill their weekends.
Secondly, you don't need to become a 'member' of the group as such, simply book a place
by contacting Crissie . There will be space for eight people so it will be first
come, first served. Also contact Crissie for venue details (easy parking!).
Thirdly, we are planning to extend the usual time of u3a meetings to allow for discussion
during a lunch break, so bring a light snack with you. Tea/coffee will be available
before the film showing.
Dates for Autumn 2024 term:
14 th September, 12 th October, 9 th November and 14 th December.
Times:
10.30am - 11.00am - Tea/Coffee;
11.00am - 1.00/1.30pm – Film show;
After film, lunch break combined with discussion.
We hope this timing will allow for a relaxed and enjoyable Saturday, still allowing you to
reach home before it gets dark in the winter months.
