Group Leader: John Evans

The TED website contains over 4000 talks on a huge variety of subjects. The aim is that each speaker should be at the top of their profession and that they should aim to condense their knowledge into a 10 to 20 minute talk
We are a small friendly group who get together to discuss talks from the TED website.
The way we operate is that, for each meeting, a member of the group picks talks on two topics of their choice. We watch the talks together and then discuss them - normally with a cup of coffee between topics.
The variety of topics that group members have picked is huge - ranging from the evolution of music to the future of the internet, from artificial intelligence to how to feed people without destroying the planet, from joy beauty and delight to the greatest threats to humanity.
