A group of 6 or 8 of us meet up every fortnight to converse, discuss and exchange opinions in French.
Usually an article or a text on a topic is sent which each member is requested to read and prepare comments. These articles are very varied and encourage everyone do some research and develop the discussion which can then expand. A good level of fluency in French is requested.

Everyone is encourage to also suggest other conversation points.
In addition, when films in French are screened on THURSDAY afternoons at the Towner Cinema we will arrange to meet up for the viewing, there is of course an entry fee for this.

The Asian film festival of Vesoul in France inspired this garden to be created as part of the displays so we discussed the importance of art as part of life in France
